Thank you to Hartman Fund Donors from student-athlete Aron White

Ever wondered how your donation to the William C. Hartman Jr. Fund truly impacts student-athletes at Georgia? In addition to funding student-athlete scholarships and 21 varsity sport programs, Hartman Fund contributions support programs such as academic tutors and Champs Life Skills. Through these programs Georgia is able to offer its student-athletes the tools needed to succeed both in the classroom, on the playing field and in life after graduation.

Aron White, junior tight end for the Bulldogs, is one of many student-athletes who utilizes these services throughout the year. Maria Taylor, of georgiadogs.com, recently sat down with White to discuss the affect Hartman Fund donations have on his overall experience at Georgia. Aron’s video can be seen here.

You too can have an immediate impact on Georgia Athletics and its nearly 600 student-athletes by contributing to the Hartman Fund. The deadline for gifts to affect the 2010 football season is February 15th. There are numerous ways to donate before the deadline:

Online: Access your online account and donate via credit card or eCheck.

Check: Mail a check to The Georgia Bulldog Club; made payable to UGAAA. Please specify Hartman Fund, Basketball Enhancement Fund or Gymnastics Endowment Fund in the memo portion of the check. You may also use an eCheck through your online account.

Credit Card: The Georgia Bulldog Club accepts Visa and MasterCard.

Corporate Matching Gifts: Obtain a matching gifts form from your human resources office, complete the employee section of the form and submit it with your contribution. The Georgia Bulldog Club will complete the charitable section of the form and submit it to your corporation. Corporations participating in a matching gifts program will make a donation, in your name, to one of the three annual funds.

Stock: Donors may make a charitable contribution through an electronic transfer of stock or the actual stock certificate. Donors receive a tax deduction on a gift of stock based on the value of the stock on the day it was received by The Georgia Bulldog Club.
