Greater Atlanta Bulldog Club Meeting

The final stop on the 2010 Dawg Days Tour is on Monday, July 26, 2010 at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta. The “Celebration of Georgia Athletics” will feature interim Athletic Director Frank Crumley, Head Football Coach Mark Richt and Head Basketball Coach Mark Fox as well as other guest personalities. Chuck Dowdle will emcee the event.

The social will begin at 5:30 with the program slated to start at 7:00. The event is free of charge and will feature a cash bar. For more information, please contact Dave Muia at 706-542-6607.

Important Dates and Year-End Reminders

The Georgia Bulldog Club offices will be closed on the following holidays:

• Monday, July 5 (Independence Day)
• Monday, Sept. 6 (Labor Day)
• Thursday-Friday, Nov. 25-26 (Thanksgiving)
• Monday-Friday, Dec. 27-31 (Christmas Holidays)
• Monday, Jan. 3 (New Year’s Day)

The Georgia Bulldog Club would also like to remind its patrons of some important end of the year information.

The Georgia Bulldog Club office will close for the Holidays on December 27th and reopen on January 3rd. However, phone calls and emails will be responded to and donations will be processed and entered periodically during this time.

Also, if you are looking to receive tax credit for 2010, please make sure all donations are postmarked no later than December 31st, 2010. Anything postmarked later will be credited toward the 2011 tax year.

As a reminder, there are numerous ways to give to the William C. Hartman Jr. Fund before the February 15th deadline. The methods of giving are:

Online: Access your online account and donate via credit card or eCheck.

Check: Mail a check to The Georgia Bulldog Club; made payable to UGAAA. Please specify Hartman Fund, Basketball Enhancement Fund or Gymnastics Endowment Fund in the memo. You can also use an eCheck through your online account.

Credit Card: The Georgia Bulldog Club accepts Visa and MasterCard.

Corporate Matching Gifts: Obtain a matching gifts form from your human resources office, complete the employee section of the form and submit it with your contribution. The Georgia Bulldog Club will complete the charitable section of the form and submit it to your corporation. Corporations participating in a matching gifts program will make a donation, in your name, to one of the three annual funds.

Stock: Donors may make a charitable contribution through an electronic transfer of stock or the actual stock certificate. If gifting an actual stock certificate, please leave the certificate in the donor’s name. Donors receive a tax deduction on a gift of stock based on the value of the stock on the day it was received by The Georgia Bulldog Club.

The Georgia Bulldog Club features three annual funds that correspond to the priority seating system for Football, Men’s Basketball and Gymnastics.
